| background | Mark Cherrington is the editor of Cultural Survival Quarterly, the award-winning magazine about indigenous peoples and indigenous issues, published by the nonprofit organization Cultural Survival — one of the oldest and most respected indigenous rights organizations. He has also been the editor of Amherst magazine and Earthwatch magazine. His writing and photography have appeared in a wide range of publications, including Time, Discover, Audubon, the Boston Globe, and Vogue, as well as many websites. He has also written several books on environmental issues and lectured at dozens of universities. He lives with his wife and two daughters in western Massachusetts in the United States. |
