阿美族的男性服飾

在祭儀盛會，能展現年齡階級的氣勢，不同階層，一目了然，所以少階遇到長階，態度恭謹，不可有逾矩行為，長階對少階，隨時可以修正指導，因此服飾的識別也有教育作用，至於女性的服飾，也有身份年齡區別，少女的飾物、配件佩帶方式和已婚女子，以及老年女性不同，還有服喪的女性穿著也是有規定的。

阿美族女性服飾

1. （一）頭飾：小花帽以黃、綠、紅色亮片之類和白色羽毛為材料製成頭冠。大花冠：年長（已婚）女性佩帶，羽毛材料使用比小花帽多，羽毛蓋住整個頭飾。
2. （二）上衣：冬天長袖，夏天短袖，紅色短上衣、袖緣以白黑雙色滾邊配色。
3. （三）裙子：單片圍裙和雙片圍裙，四週滾白色滾邊，精緻的還要加刺繡，繡花的圖騰依家族而有不同的設計。
4. （四）胸片：長方形的紅色布片上，飾以滾邊和亮麗鎳片，斜掛在頸上至腋下，讓胸片呈斜襟的感覺，避免在動作之間露出肚子（少女和年長女性使用同樣款式）。
5. （五）腰帶：五彩的腰飾二條，在腰的臀圍部份各繫一條腰帶，腰帶腰帶的尾穗經打結後，自然垂吊在腰的兩側，在豐年祭眾少女（或眾女性）連手歡舞時，多彩腰穗成為舞蹈的另一種翻飛情韻。

綁腿（又稱腳絆）∼在長條黑布上，飾以白布來營造視覺效果，在尾端釘上毛織線，把女性的小腿圍繞成黑白對應的雙色護腿布，與身上的紅衣、花帽及亮麗胸飾，形成極具華麗視覺的服飾。
